It's a Bissell Multi-surface Easy Vac. Next month it'll be a year that I've had it. Whether I'm vacuuming the floors or using it in 'Dust Buster' mode, it makes a terrible screeching noise. And yes, I clean it out everytime. It's so bad that I have to wait for everyone to leave the house and I have to wear ear plugs while using it. I just picked up my prescription today. 28-day Yasmin. The problem is, I'm taking it to regulate my period. I have a hybrid cactus slowly shriveling?

My band is trying to raise some money to buy a van. We are now playing shows all over the southeast and renting a van isn't cutting it anymore. I'm tired of breaking even. HELP, can this cause Toxic Shock Syndrome?

I'm on the pill to control endometriosis, and I often get breakthrough bleeding. It's a pretty light flow, mostly a dark brown discharge which sometimes is bright red, so it doesn't warrant the use of a tampon. I had it like that for about six hours, because I was very busy and didn't get a chance to use the bathroom. I then gradually developed a headache. And also what usually happens when I remove the toilet tissue is it will rip and some will stick to the area inside my labia. I have a 96 VW Jetta. Recently the spedometer has been on the fritz.. it will work sometimes others it won't work at all. There are sometimes even when it bounces around - spooky. ha! I can deal with that and guess at how fast I am going. But now the gas guage has started going haywire. I filled it up yesterday and it has been working fine since but before that it was under half a tank and was bouncing around between half and empty all the time. My Tohatsu outboard will start but only run for a few seconds each time. Any ideas?

A few weeks ago my Tohatsu 2 stroke ran fine. I started her up after wintertizing it and it took a while for it to stay running to get all the stuff out. Ran the motor for about an hour and it ran smooth. A week later it wouldnt start. Cleaned out the filter, new gas, and cleaned some jelly out of the carb and pins. Checked all the fuel lines. Motor will now start for a 2-10 seconds each time before dying. Pulled apart the carb, fuel pump, and everything looks fine. The fuel is new and tried 2 different tanks, oil mixture is correct, and I always have the additive added each time I get new gas.

Had my period 10 days ago and got a positive test today?

I'm a 25 year old married female with 2 young kids. my oldest is 2 1/2 and my youngest is 13 months. I know what it's like to be pregnant. With both my kids I got BFP 9 days past ovulation. They were faint but I could see the lines. Anyway, my husband had a vasectomy on October 9th. Six weeks after his procedure we had unprotected which so happened to be the day I was ovualting. I was a little worried leading up to my period. I got my period right on time almost 2 weeks ago. It was a normal flow and lasted 5 days like usual. Well about 3 days ago I started getting this heaviness feeling in my lower belly (like braxton hicks contractions) and be feeling really off. So today just to rule out pregnancy I picked up a test while I was out. I took it and there is a faint line, VERY faint but I can see it. Am I pregnant? Will i regret it if i drop out of uni in my final year?

i am currently in my third and final year of uni doing nursing. i am so unhappy. i dont like the lecturers, the campus, the 'learning' experience,and most of the people around me. i do love it when i am out in practice and the only reason i stayed on the course was because i think lots of people will be disappointed at me if i dropped out and i dont know what i would do if i quit. i only have 8 months to go. i feel like the lectuerers are very demotivating and horrible. i dont want to give them the satisfaction by droping out now and being so close to graduation kind of drives me crazy but i hate going to cl because of them. i hardly learn anything which is showing in my grades. i am totally lost. help please

Should I buy a new guitar or a new amp?

I personally would get an amp first if your guitar is still doing great. A new amp can totally change the way your guitar sounds (as can different pickups). I have two amps that I've had forever, both about 10 years or more. One is a Laney; great practice amp since it does get really loud for the size (it'll rock the house), and it was only about $120. I hadn't ever heard of the brand before I got mine, and to be honest, haven't seen one in a store since getting mine. But, they are British, and from my experience last really well. I also have another amp which is a Samick. I got it because I had gotten a b and guitar made by them, and both were very comparable to Fender in looks and also quality apparently. My amp, which is like you'd use for a show, was about $300. A few years back, I had gotten an Epiphone b and small amp to go with it...absolutely LOVED the b, but the amp burned out really quick (like 6 months later). If you can catch a good deal somewhere like Guitar Center or other music store, it is possible to walk out with both a guitar and decent size amp for what you've got to spend as long as you're willing to compromise on the brands. I've been doing music for a long time, myself, and as much as I'd love to have the brands that make everyone go "wow", they don't mean anything, and if you've really got some talent, it'll show with the biggest piece of junk even. I've seen local bands that play stuff that back in the 70's, when those guys weren't even a thought in someone's mind, it should have been thrown away back then, and they could crank it up and blow the roof and walls off the place...and that's what matters.

Bipolar disorder; people are one of my triggers. What can I do?

I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder at the age of 13, and I am now currently 18. My mother decided to opt out of the medication that was prescribed to me but my depressive cycles are getting worse and I am now considered a adult. Before I started isolating myself, my mania was VERY horrible but for 2 years now or so, my mania symptoms come into play when I interact with people or when the summer months roll around and my depression sets in any other time. In my depressive cycle, I neglect to take care of myself, I stay within my house or in my room, I'm anxious and nervous etc. Because people can trigger both cycles, it's a catch twenty-two. When I isolate myself, I'm normally in a depressive cycle and I don't take care of myself but when I'm around people (especially my age) I become manic and it's very horrible to deal with me. I also would prefer to be alone because of my anxiety attacks. I have other triggers as well, but it's almost impossible to live any sort of life without interaction with people in general. I have some mania tendencies every day such as racing thoughts (especially right before bed) and some anger/agitation (to which I just go to my room) but currently it's the depressive cycle that's killing me. I plan to go to the psychiatrist very soon and get medication to stabilize my moods. But what can I do until I am able to go? What do I do after the doctor prescribes medicine, will my depressive cycles get better but also control my mania? I'm just so confused and feel helpless.

Sound editing program?

I wrote this song on Mozart 9, a music composition program, but it turned out that every couple seconds, there is a high-pitched buzz that lasts for about a second. I've tried working with Audacity, the music editor, but I can't seem to make it work for me. Is there another freeware program I can download that will take out this annoying sound without deleting the entire section of music?

There is nothing more empowering than education. International travel (working abroad) is great too. Both are expensive and require lots and lots of work. You can't slip them on and off at will like a pair of shoes. "Empowerment" is learned and earned. Its a process.

Why can't I connect to the internet?

I have a net-book that I brought to my friends house, and wanted to connect to the internet.I find his wireless signal, and it connects and says that my connection is excellent. Talk to the parents about the issue. If they are young kids, they probably don't know any better. Also, don't leave the dog outside unsupervised. Keep the dog inside with you and stay with the dog when she is outside.

Christmas gifts for a 15 month old girl?

My daughter will be 15 1/2 months at christmas. I am trying to start buying now. She has a lot of things already. She has building blocks, she has the learn and groove table, all elmo toys, buggy, winnie the pooh ride on toy. v-tech alphabet train Track with a piano, etc.. she has lots of little animals. I am having a hard time to think of what to get for her. Do you think animals can sense that their owner is pregnant?? I have heard stories of them detecting cancer or sensing that something is wrong with their owner. My dog has been overly protective of me lately even around my husband. When my husband gets close to me, my dog goes crazy. I broke my Casio camera HELP!!?

My little chihuahua puppies?

Ok so I rescued a little 3 pound chihuahua in front of Rite Aid about 2 months ago. She turned out to pregnant. I was so nervous for her because she is so small and took her to the vet a few times while trying to find her owner with no success. Anyways she had her puppies 11 days ago, two beautiful little boys. I am not a breeder and have dealt with lab puppies before but am new to this tiny puppy experience. The question is the boys where 2,8 oz and 3.3 oz at birth and have been gaining weight rapidly. more than doubled their wieght by day 7 and now on day 11 are 9.8 oz and 10.1 oz. I have been looking at the chihuahua growth chart and they are leaps and bounds ahead of that for their birth wieght. I have been feeding momma high quality puppy food with pure lamb and veggies since i found out she was preganant but after she had the puppies she turned her nose up to it. So I went and got the wet food with pure lamb and veggies and have also beeing bowling chicken everyday with rice and chicken broth for her and giving a little cottage cheese or low fat yougart to make she is getting enough calcium, and an egg yok boiled every other day. I want make sure she is getting all the nutrents she needs because she is so tiny. But the pups are gaing so fast, is this dangerous for their bone structure or anything like that, is it normal or am I making a mistake by feeding momma so much extra. I am new to this and am just trying to do the best for momma and the pups but am I doing the right thing? My vet called to check on her the day after she had the pups and said the spoonful of cottage cheese was ok. Any advice would be appreciated.

How do you fix a poor paint job over un-primed drywall?

Is the entire wall painted? Finish it with the same paint used and watch for peeling. Drywall painted without primer basically just consumes more paint. Once the drywall is completely painted, allow 3 to 5 days to cure, depending on humidity. Once cured, seal it with a good sealer like Kilz and then apply the desired finish, 2 coats.

Computer clicking/ticking noises?

I know that the clicking/ticking noises I hear in some computers must be the hard drive. (some computers are way louder than others especially older ones) However I'm wondering why or what causes the hard drive to do this? The noise I can best describe is the sound you would get from crackling something or frying eggs at a very high temperature meaning there are like dozens to hundreds of clicks a second. I ume it's the mechanical arm of the hard drive going crazy but that can't be a good thing if done continuously? Despite defraging and cleaing up junk files, some hard drives keep doing that. Why? Does it mean the hard drive is getting read to die?

So tonight was the third time I ended up at labor and delivery because I called my doctor with a problem and they said to go. The first time I was having severe pain in my upper stomach and into my back and lots of pressure in my back and rib cage and chest. They ran some tests, checked my cervix, did an internal ultrasound and had no idea what was wrong with me so they gave me anti-nausea meds and sent me home. Second I seemed to be leaking a small amount of fluid. Went in got checked, was sent home with no idea what caused but it wasn't amniotic fluid. Tonight I had pain in my right side under my rib cage to the point where I was doubled over crying. I went in, they monitored the baby, tested my urine and blood, checked my cervix. Again was sent home with NO IDEA what was wrong. All they said was it may be gall bladder pain. They didn't even do an ultrasound. It just seems that if you aren't in labor and you don't have preeclampsia, they don't really care what else might be wrong.

A US Citizen on its way back to the US from the UK heathrow airport was arrested due to a expired visa,?

He went to the Emby and spoke to the consular that he needed istance to return to the US. The consular said they would ist with the airfare on AA. which they did. However during the wait to fly back to the US at the time to check in he was arrested because his visa expired. Now I wonder what will happen to him. Will he be extradited back to the states? Could my son have Pervasive Development Disorder?

In my previous post, a lady mentioned PDD or Pervasive Development Disorder. I had never heard of it before. My son just turned 2, he doesn't speak. He has poor cognitive skills, doesn't do shapes, stack blocks, that sort of thing. He was essed with a program called SoonerStart because of my concerns with him not speaking and was told he should score a 50 or below to p but scored a 120, which is the level of an 11 mo old. He wouldn't stack the blocks but banged them together. He wouldn't turn the bottle to get the cheerio out that the lady gave him to try and he got mad because he couldn't. He kicks the wall and doors constantly, twirls around, is hard to get to sleep, is corrected but doesn't seem to understand. Doesn't like books. Anyone out here dealing with MASTOCYTOSIS?

I work for a 71-year-old woman with Mastocytosis, a mast cell disease. She is on Type 2 antihistamines, Gastrocom (sp?), Lyrica, and other pain and nerve medications, but is still having swelling of the mouth, tongue, hands and feet. She flushes almost daily, sometimes for hours, and often her feet and/or hands are swollen, red, and "feel as though they are burning." Is there anywhere we can turn for additional information and/or help? Any kind of input would be helpful, whether you are a doctor, research scientist, or a patient who has this rare disease. To my knowledge, blood work has not been done to test for the systemic, cancerous form of Mastocytosis. She is a member of the Mastocytosis Society and receives their newsletter. We tried to tell him we were being nice and that Rudolph had played hooveball and had coco and fudge face brownies, but he said not to lie and that to make Rudolph feel better he was going to put him in the lead of the sled formation. All the work me and my friends do to get the lead of that sled and sneaky little Rudolph gets it, and a song.
