Can i get rid of my sunburn?

i started marching band camp today and for some reason i didn't put my sunscreen on and i got sunburn.well i`m not sure you can call it sunburn it doesn'thurt or anything its more like i just got an unwanted tan in some areas. Anyways i have to go back for the rest of this month and pretty much all through August and i`m going to be out in the sun most of the time. I`m going to put on sunscreen next time but i was wondering if it would still go away naturally even though i`m out in the sun or am i stuck with it until school starts?
