Can my clown loach hurt my pearl gourami?

it might be after it, or it just might be curious.... set a time for it to stop by to re home it, while trying to stop it from doing that..i added some baby angels to my big tank and my adult kept going after them, i put my net into the tank just enough for him to see it and realize to stop, and everytime i kept doing that..sometimes they grow out of it lets hope that happens
