I just bought a 93 BMW 325is the rear defrost doesnt work at all and the heat only kicks on when drive it?

I just bought a 1993 bmw 325is and neither the rear defrost works at all and he front heat only gets warm or hot when i drive it for a while. what could be the problem? and how much to fix?
