Xanax vs. Ativan?

I have a 2 mg xanax bar and this pill i can't even find in a pill identifier but my boyfriend says it's ativan but it has no imprints and it's a circle and realllly small like a dot. Does' anyone know the milligram of this pill or know what i'm talking about? what's the difference? My boyfriend is going to p any day now and I tend to get panic attacks.
