My rabbit is malting LOADS! Is he okay?

If there is fur growing in under the fur he is losing, and the skin does not look irritated, he is just shedding heavily. I have to sometimes do 2 brushings daily when they are going through a heavy seasonal shed. You want to try and keep the dead hair out of his cage & brush regularly during this time to prevent him from ingesting a lot of fur and developing digestive difficulties. If your rabbit is short-haired, I would recommend the 'Zoom Groom'- it is made for cats, but works really well on short-haired bunnies, better than anything else I've tried.
