Has anyone sold Mary Kay successfully or know someone who does!!?

Hello all, my name is dana and i'm a full time business management major with a minor in human resources i currently work in the medical field but i would like to someday start my own small business!! I've seen the Mary Kay commercials and success stories and I like their products. So... I thought about become an Independent Sales Consultant, but before I do does any know anybody who sells Mary Kay and does it actually prove to be successful before i invest. I know i have all the marketing and customer service capabilities but i just wanted to get another opinion! PLEASE help
