I have a hybrid cactus slowly shriveling?

i got a like 2 inch hybrid cactus at a garden show a little over a year ago and ever since i moved its been slowly shriveling. i dont know the name of the cactus the only thing i know is that its a hybrid and its suppose to eventually be able to get like 6ft tall it doesnt have any thorns just leaves and its suppose have flowers on it that kinda look like hibiscus. but recently all its doing is slowing growing 2 new leaves and then they die its only grown like maybe 1/4 inch since i got it and it doesnt have a very big root system. and i mist its soil everyday and water it every other week but i dont know what else i can do for it it was perfectly fine and plump at my other house and now it can hardly keep its self up and i really dont want it to die please help!
