Wearing extensions to school?

so over the summer i got some hair extensions. i have rather short hair.. its to my shoulders. school started and i didnt wear them the first 4 days.. do you think it would be weird if i wore them tomorrow? i just think of it as an enhancement to my looks.. like how people wear makeup and change their looks all the time.. but would it be weird if someone had short hair one day and long hair the next?
