How did the boys turn into savages from the book "Lord of the Flies" ?
The boys were apart from society for a long time. I think why they turned savage had a lot to do with Jack. Jack was sort of made into the ringleader, and he had a power over the boys that let him tell them what to do. He was the one who went savage first, then all the boys followed. Kind of like conformity. Since they were living in the wild, they would become wild. While Ralph and his group are concerned with going home, I think Jack and his tribe started to revel in being on a island where there were no rules and adults.
