I teach community college and have a lot of students with your same issues. FIRST - contact the disabled students services office. They can help you with note-takers, testing for learning disabilities, and tutors. Second - tell your teachers. If they don't know what your problems are, they can't help you. Third - our college offers "how to go to college" cles. They stress reading, math, computers, and study skills. See if you can take something like that. Community colleges usually have a LOT of resources for students who want to succeed. Remember, we want you to succeed too!
